'The Council' - Original painting on canvas
These 3 characters showed up unannounced at my front door one day. At first I thought they were trying to sell me something, and from the looks of them I couldn't imagine what it could be. They didn't look like preachers, anyway. They said they were from The Council, which sounded ominous at first, but then they handed me a tin of homemade cookies. We chatted for a few minutes, then they handed me their card and told me to call if anything came up.
I still have no idea what that whole meeting was about, but they seemed satisfied. Anyway, the cookies were delicious.
This piece is on stretched canvas, and needs no framing. Signed on the lower bottom panel, ‘The Council’ is complete with a hook and ready to hang. The sides of this piece are painted too, and part of the painting.
